I'm thrilled to announce that two of my pieces, "Spinel .08" and "Convariatus .02," are currently on display in the exhibition. These works are presented as A1 Giclee prints on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308g paper, elegantly framed in black with a white mount.
With 'Convariatus .02,' it was the interplay of light on a polished surface that drew me in—its ability to mould shapes and create contrasts sparked my curiosity. By magnifying the details, I aim to distil and capture the very essence of its allure, transforming the mundane into a captivating visual experience.
With 'Spinel .08,' I delved into the intricate beauty of jewellery, a subject steeped in personal narratives and memories. My intent was to zoom into the minute details, those that often go unnoticed, to extract and spotlight the essence of its charm. This endeavour is about transforming the ordinary into an enthralling visual narrative, inviting viewers to discover the extraordinary in the everyday.
I am endlessly captivated by the simplicity and beauty of everyday objects. Employing techniques like Intentional Camera Movement and Multiple Exposure, I seek to uncover the remarkable within the familiar. These methods are pivotal in peeling back the layers of the ordinary to expose its inherent splendour, especially when the objects in focus hold a personal echo for me.
